Would you take used toys if you didn’t have any money to buy your toddler Christmas Gifts?

A women asked if I would be able to help her with her 3yr old son for Christmas. I said that I don’t have the money to buy new but I have a lot of used toys that are in great condition that I would be happy to give. She said she only wants new. I know that if I didn’t have any money I wouldn’t care if it was used as long as my sons had something. Would you give your child used toys for Christmas if you didn’t have money to buy new?
