Can you help me with gift ideas for a "breast-feeding basket"?
My friend is having a baby on August 10th, (scheduled c-section) after trying for 11 years. I’m so happy for them. She has a teenage son, but when he was born she was unable to breastfeed because of the pain and complications from an emergency c-section (which was vertical). She wants to breast feed this baby. So as a gift, I want to give her a gift basket full of things to help her.
After my son was born, my husband came home with nipple cream and nipple pads, breast milk storage bags, and a pump. It was very thoughtful and it made breast feeding a little easier. I want to show her the same support.
Now, I wouldn’t get this kind of gift for just anyone. Not everyone wants to breastfeed, and it’s kind of a personal gift, but she’s "that" kind of friend.
What are some gift ideas? Books? Best Products? Ideas? What do you think of the idea?
