Be honest, is this too much for a first birthday party?
I’m throwing my baby a first birthday party and it’s going to be kind of big. We are going to have games, horseback riding, the jumpy balloon thing kids have, and I was even thinking of having really nice gift bags. I’m having it at a park that I’m renting out for the day and inviting like 25 kids. But my baby’s dad and his mom think it’s too much and too expensive (they are paying for half of it) since she’s just one and probably won’t remember it. BUt the thing is I really want to do this and my mom agrees with me that I should do it for her since you only turn one once. But all my ex and his mom keep saying is that it’s just a sign that she’s going to be spoiled but it’s just one party! And I will admit that the party costs a lot, we went to the party planner today to get an estimate but I think my daughter deserves it but my ex still just wants to give her some small family like party but I have to admit I have my heart set on the big party. But be honest with me is it too much for a child’s birthday party or not?
