My friend is having a baby shower next weekend. She’s having a BOY, but to avoid spending anymore money, I found a gift bag at my house that’s girly. Would it be weird if I gave her the present in this flowery bag?
Well…i would try to make it more boyish. But it has a big purple sparkly flower right in the middle. 
i guess ill just have to get a new one.

It’s not inappropriate. Wrapping is wrapping. If she is the kind of person that would complain about girly wrapping paper, then she is not the kind of person you should be buying gifts for in the first place
Why not find a present for HER and put it in the girly bag? Pregnant moms love getting papering stuff (massage lotions, bubble baths, body pillows, etc) and you might even have something like that around that you can regift (something you got that you didn’t open and could pass on). Then you can just could put blue tissue paper ($1) over the baby’s gift and put in the bag with her stuff and the bag will make sense!

and If your too worried about it find the nearest dollar store and get a bag there 
Why don’t you make it look more boyish. You could cut some boy stuff out of a magazine or shapes from construction paper and make it your own. Use whatever you have with some scissors and some glue and have fun..
